Britax or Chicco car seat?

If you have one or the other, please tell me pros and cons to them! These seem to be the top rated for safety from what I’ve read.

I absolutely love the Britax brand. We used the Britax infant car seat and then switched to the Britax convertible when my daughter grew out of it. They’re so convenient. Easy to install, super safe, easy to clean, easy to travel with, and my daughter loves her seat. I can’t say enough good things about Britax.

Britax uses fewer chemicals in manufacturing their seats. I wish I had known that before I bought my Chicco.

We have a Britax in one of our cars for our daughter. I LOVE it. My husband says it is SUPER easy to install. We have three convertible seats, one for each vehicle. It just makes it easier than having to change them out. The other seats we have are Nuna Rava and Graco 4Ever. I've heard great things about the Chicco car seat, but do not have any experience with it. The Britax is awesome though.

Are you asking about the infant seats or convertible seats?

I actually have both for convertible seats. Honestly they are both very comparable except installation. The ONLY reason I say that is because we ONLY use seatbelts to install and not the latch system. The britax clicktight is beyond easy and you can’t get it wrong really. The chicco requires 2 people for a good install with a seatbelt at least imo.

I have a Chicco Keyfit 30 infant seat and Chicco Nextfit Zip convertible car seat.  I absolutely love the Keyfit 30 and have used it for both of my babies.  It isn’t the lightest seat out there but I don’t plan to use it once my daughter can sit unassisted.  It however is very easy to use, carry, click in and out of the car and stroller and easy to clean.
The Nextfit, is not my favorite convertible seat.  I also have a Graco 4 ever and plan to purchase two more for my second instead of another Nextfit.  It has these really high sides that makes it hard to lift my daughter over when in my SUV.
