Baby has discovered his hands this week (7 weeks old). He loves to suck on his hands and arms. Sometimes he does it when he’s hungry, right before a feeding. Lately he’s been doing it after his feedings, too. He doesn’t seem upset or hungry when he’s chomping on his hands after he eats - but I have to wonder, since he’s also started crying and pulling away from the breast after he’s eaten for a while, which I’ve been interpreting as him getting frustrated that he’s finished but still has a boob in his mouth (😂) - but if my interpretation is wrong and my baby is hungry, I don’t want to be underfeeding him!

So...do you think he’s still hungry right after he eats or just enthralled by his hands? Thanks so much!
