excited but...um not?

so it seems every one is sort of more excited for my baby than i am. i feel bad because i feel pressured to be more excited. baby wasnt really planned but im excited i just dont....show it? i have so much more on my plate that buying stuff for baby and celebrating doesnt seem like such a big thing for me just yet....i mean..im only 16 weeks and 4 days

I think this is normal. I feel quite similar. I'm excited but quietly. I have a lot I want to achieve this summer before my bump pops and stops me in my tracks! it's all quite physically demanding stuff so I've just kept quiet about my baby so I don't get unwanted opinions about my job and sport ...

I'm in the same boat as you! I think maybe once I show or know the gender or feel the kicks I will start to feel a bit more excited.

you have a right to feel how you want i was frustrated with my first and i wouldn't trade him for the world. it doesn't mean you don't live your baby you will bond when it's time. try not to stress your other issues too much things will work themselves out.
