so on Monday i went in because i has having contractions every 4 min lasting a minute long for about 3 hours.The midwife said i didnt look like i was in pain,checked my cervix and said i was completely closed and sent me home.

On friday MY midwife came to our appointment and checked me (i told her i was contracting every night and in the morning it would stop for the past few days) she checked me and said my cervix was very high up and posterior but i was 2-3cm dilated.She wasnt allowed to do a stretch and sweep coz discomfort is not a good enough reason (doctors words) at 38 weeks.

So Last night im in pain again,contractions every 5 min.I go in and the midwife on shift says "oh i cant even reach your cervix and you seem fine,you must just be impatient to see baby" but this time i get put on the monitor and lo and behold massive contractions registering every 5 min.2 of them come in now and go "oh i guess you are contracting,we will have to get a doctor"

.When he comes i can hear them telling him im completely closed like last time (not she cldnt reach to check) and i should go home,he agrees and comes in to tell me but since its been hours since my last check i ask to be checked before i leave.He humours me then finds im now 4-5cm with bulging membranes ,cervix is soft but posterior and baby is at -2 station.

Never mind all of that and the contractions i still got sent home with temazepam and panadiene forte to get some sleep.I was so annoyed with the midwives ,just because im not screaming and crying doesnt mean im not in labour/pain,i have done this before !

this morning i wake up and contractions are all gone.....pooh 😔 . so a guess here goea another week of this crap.
