I’ve had some strictly gay girls turn me down for being bisexual. I’m so confused 🤷🏽‍♀️ I thought it’s LGBBBBBBBBTQ why are some people being an ass about bisexual. 🤔ummm before you become fully gay don’t you start off bisexual? What happened to uplifting, some thinks it’s nasty? This girl stopped being friends with me because she thought I was confused and there’s no such thing as bisexual, that shit hurt my feelings for a long time.

Well to start with, being bisexual is not a stepping stone to being gay. You're not doing yourself any favors by assuming that's the case.
There's a whole lot of erasure of bisexuals, both among straight and gay communities. We're stereotyped  as being sex-obsessed cheaters, and potential gay partners will treat us as if we're dirty for having been with someone of the opposite sex. Potential straight partners fetishize us and treat our attraction to same-sex partners as if it's not a legitimate relationship or any sort of threat to them.
It's really pathetic, honestly, that a community crying for inclusion will exclude other members of the same community.

You don’t start as bisexual and the. become gay lmaooo. But there is a lot of people who get annoyed by bisexual ppl/ don’t think they should be apart of lgbt+ and it’s annoying.

Well...I for one just cannot understand how any woman would want to be with a man. It's unlogical for me. That doesn't (!) mean it's a bad thing or that I resent anyone who is not a lesbian.  ...but I want to understand my partner in a serious relationship as best as I can and that would be sorta in the way. Not enough reason to never date a bisexual woman, but maybe it is enough for some people.

Yeah, I identify as bi and it’s kind of a tricky subject. A LOT of people don’t think it’s a legitimate sexuality but what I noticed is it’s very helpful to get out of labels. I’m starting to think of it as I like people rather than I like men and women. And if people ask I’ve started to say, I just like who I like 🤷🏾‍♀️ Strictly gay people are a little more receptive when you put it that way.

People don’t always start off bisexual. Sometimes you just know when u only like women. Anyway back to the main point, some women see you being bisexual as “ Oh she’s gonna cheat on me with a man” or “Man she’s confused”. They judge based off the actions of what some BiCURIOUS/Straight women do without truly getting to know the person that’s trying to talk to them. Tbh getting cheated on by a man or woman would be hurtful so I’ve never seen the point in saying “she’s gonna cheat on me with a guy”. I guess because they see it as disrespectful when it’s a guy? Anyway I wouldn’t worry about it. There’s someone for everyone on this planet. Just gotta be patient. And in response to your friend cutting u off...they weren’t your friend to begin with so boom. Live your best life !

It’s because, if you’re bi and use to being w a guy and you decide to be w a female, the relationship is going fine and you decide you miss a males touch. Then you decide to step out on your girlfriend or leave her for a guy. We do t handle that too well
