Call the doc on call for a RX refill?
My birth control pill needs to be refilled today (starting the new pack tonight). But when I called the pharmacy-they said the prescription is over a year old and so they can’t refill it and need a new one. Well it’s Sunday and so my doctors office is closed. But I never miss a pill so I’m contemplating calling the on call doctor at my primary care office to call in a refill. Do you think that’s appropriate?
Edit: I’ve been on the BC pill for 15 years. That’s why they write it for one year at a time for me.
