When did you first go out with newborn?

My baby is 3 weeks old and I’m going stir crazy sitting in this house.  I would like to go out somewhere with the baby and husband but idk where to go and I have a fear of him being fussy and crying the whole time.  When did you first go out to eat or to the store with baby and do you have any tips?

Hmm, I found it easy to take her out early. As long as it was between feedings, she just stayed in her car seat and rode along.

my daughters first outing was the night she was born. we put a mosquito net on the travel system and went for walks. they tell u to not being a newborn into a crowded space, because they are stil not strong enough and if they catch something,  they can get seriously sick. but walks? walks are fine. be sure and not let anyone touch or kiss the baby.  go for walks. 
after they get their first set of shots,  they are a lot stronger already.

at 8 weeks, we were going grocery shopping with her with no issues.  I just pulled the cover on the travel system and dint get anyone come close to her.
shes almost 2 now and a healthy an happy girl.

after 1 week, mine was born i. summer so it was very hot and difficult, usually early earlyin the morning for a stroll close to house

It’s way easier with a newborn! And if they cry who cares hah. You’ll get used to it:) being a new mom is stressful but you’ll get used to it. Just go out to eat at a family friendly place. I think we went to chili’s? Or even a grocery run. Shouldn’t be too much of a burden.

Just start small if you are worried and get some coffee or something or lunch. You don’t need to run a bunch of errands or anything. Just get comfortable! Plus this age they are the easiest to go out with. They just lay there lol

Three days after my son was born we had a family dinner at mugs lol he slept the whole time.
