So my boyfriend has a group of friends. Some he’s never met, and some he’s been friends with forever. When it comes to their friendship I try to keep my opinions to myself.

However,

I’ve come to realize that it’s like he has a giant target on his back and they are constantly bashing him and talking shit. I always make him feel like he’s worth it once they make him feel shitty. They always attack his appearance or what he does and how he does it. Since he’s been with me he’s constantly called things like ; pussy whipped, a fag, blah blah blah. I know that’s how guys are but god it’s hard on him and he acts like it’s okay.

So I posted these on Instagram, Immediately he’s friend felt the need to screen shot them off his girlfriends phone just to post them in the group chat to talk shit about my boyfriend. Up until now I’ve kept my mouth shut. But I’ve never wanted to tell him to drop them as friends so bad. Because not only could I see the irritation in his face. It made me feel like I was doing something wrong because they were so against it. Like the idea was stupid. I wanted to take the pictures down, but he wouldn’t let me. I’m not sure what to do because now I’m scared to do anything out of fear that his friends will ridicule him.

Ps. Another example would be, we started a YouTube channel, he posted our first channel in his group chat and they are him alive. I can’t be the only one who sees it.
