Right so I’m going on holiday when my period is due and it’s gonna be the whole time what do I do, do I hope I am late?

Is there anyway you can go to the doctor and get the pill to stop it? I’ve got the pill then stopped taking it after holiday so my period comes back.

periods aren’t that bad on holiday, i agree its not the best situation but if you can wear tampons (lucky if you can, i can’t!) then you can swim fine, and your period doesn’t really change anything. i cant wear tampons and when i’ve been on holiday i’ve been taken swimming but i’m on my period, i just normally make an excuse like “the water is too cold” or something like that, my period only lasts 5 days anyway so it doesn’t ruin the swimming for the entire holiday !

I use the menstrual cup and it can be left in for up to 12 hours (light-medium flow) or just cleaned when you go to the toilet.
It means I’ve pretty much been able to forget about my period on holidays and you can swim with it!!
