TTC while breastfeeding?

I am planning on extended breastfeeding and I’m wondering if anyone has tips on getting pregnant while breastfeeding? We are going to start trying again when my son is 9 months old (he is currently 7 1/2 months) and so far I haven’t gotten my period, but I know it’s still possible to get pregnant while breastfeeding, just less likely. Does anyone have any tips? 
Don’t comment if you plan on telling me I’m crazy 😂 I love love love being a mom and I want my kids to be closer in age. 🤷🏼‍♀️😊

You can monitor your temperature... if you are ovulating it still should change. I got my first period at 9 months when my lo went from nursing 3 x during the night to one ...

I had the same plan and also still had not gotten my period back by 6.5 mos so I started taking vitex which helped kick my cycle back into action. I also cut back BF/pumping but we were already supplementing so this wasn’t too hard for us (but emotionally making that decision was very hard). I now only BF 2-3x/day. We are still TTC and our LO just turned 10 mo! Good luck to you (and me too ;)!!

Just have a lot of sex 😂 you never know when that egg will drop! For me, I JUST got my period back and my daughter turned 11 months on the 19th. I was super horny the weekend of July 6th, and that's probably when I ovulated. Your sex drive should kick up around your ovulation, so if you feel like doing it, DEFINITELY do it then. Otherwise, have sex every 2 or three days and you'll probably catch that first egg. It might take a while but I guess try to enjoy the trying 😂 we're starting this week! I didn't want to have a March baby because it's still cold here then and I get seasonal depression, but now we'd be due around beginning of May so it's go time!
