I have a very enforced rule about people posting my child on social media. It has been this way since the day she was born. I do not allow family or friends to post photos of my child on Facebook, Instagram, etc.

My sister (and pretty much every family member) thought I was crazy until my sister posted a picture of my niece and someone screenshot it and used the picture to mock and make fun of her.

It’s cause some friction in my family. I got my cousins YouTube channel taken down because she posted a vlog featuring my daughters 3rd birthday.

My in-laws get upset that they can’t post pictures of my daughter to show off

People think I’m being crazy but I have heard and seen so many negative things involving children who’s parents posted pics of them on the internet and I feel like no matter who you think you know, it doesn’t mean you know the people on their friend list or followers...

Better safe than sorry!
