So my 4th baby arrives healthy and happy via csection 4 days ago 😊 we are so in love with our final addition Lincoln Elias. However I didn’t recall with my other csections about having such an issue going to the bathroom! In the hospital I had to be straight cathed just once to relieve my bladder becasue my bladder refused to wake up despite the urges I had. After that all fine and dandy... but pooping... lawd have mercy! Believe me, I’ve had my fair share of struggles with this colon of mine lately from hemmorhoids to a hemorrhoidectomy and now anal fissures (tears) oh and more hemmorhoids only internal this time. Ugh... I digress... ladies be sure to start on miralax and colace a few days before surgery and request using it through your stay and while your at home for a bit because whew those pain killer drugs will block someone up so fast it ain’t even funny! If you’ve never experienced constipation and want to be my guest but don’t let it go beyond that point to fecal impaction (if you’ve never heard of it look it up) drink insane amounts of water and do a high fiber diet before during and after!
