Is a breast reduction worth it?
So I have been contemplating getting a breast reduction for about 2 years now, however I don’t have medical insurance and so the surgery is therefore not covered/ partially paid for by insurance. I’m 17 and have a 32H cup, which is ridiculous for my frame. And aside from the mental side of things like insecurities and etc, my boobs cause me physical pain on the daily - whether it be massive back pains, bra indents or even the change in my posture and how I carry myself. If I had the money, I would get a breast reduction right now. However, I am still living at home and saving for university. I’ve even considered trying to get insurance just to apply for a breast reduction, but I have had open heart surgery and so the chances of me getting insurance in the first place is very slim. I live in NZ where it is quite expensive and so I’ve looked overseas, however I have seen so many horror stories that I don’t know if it’s worth the risk? So long story short, for the people out there who have gotten a breast reduction/ know of people that have, do you believe that it is worth the money?
