Does my LO need milk?

So my son is 2 (June 22nd) and idk if he needs milk anymore. I know they need a dairy intake but he eats so much cheese and some yogurt. The only reason I wanna take him off the milk is because I can’t think of any other way to get him off a bottle, he refuses. Any suggestions?

I don’t give my LO regular milk... she eats dairy and drinks water she’s 20 months

My son stopped drinking milk shortly after a year old. He's allergic to dairy so he never had cows milk, he was breastfed then hypoallergenic formula. As long as they get their nutrients from food, they don't need milk at all. He's a very healthy 6 yr old now.

My son is almost 2 and doesn’t like milk and he’s doing fine without it. He gets lots of those nutrients in his cheese, smoothies, and yogurts which he eats every day.

I stopped giving my son milk when he was about 18 months. I would make him it at night and he would hardly touch it so just stopped it. He has it every morning in his cereal and loves yoghurt and cheese. So figure he’s getting enough!

I believe as long as you are supplementing it's nutrition it's fine. Offering enough yogurt and cheese, you could also make smoothies. My pediatrician told me when they turn 2 I can go from whole milk to 1% or nonfat.
