should i have the pill

me and my boyfriend are sexually active and personally feel like sex without a condom feels better for both of us. his suggested going on the pill and ive been doing alot of research all i really want the pill for is to be able to have sex without a condom and not worry about getting pregnant.

i would like to know some infomation on the pill like how much? which pill? and side effects? please!
