How often do you see your long distance boyfriend?

I was wondering how often other people see their long distance SOs... mine lives only 2 hours away but we’ll see one another 1-2 (MAYBE on a good week 3) times a week. He has kids from a previous relationship where he lives so most weekends I don’t get to spend with him either. It’s usually just a couple hours a week I get to spend with him and it’s just not enough :/ I’m considering ending the relationship even though I love him. I just feel so alone all the time.

My boyfriend lives in south Korea and i live in the USA so we rarely get to see each other. But we do visit each other whenever we have the money to do it. We talk every day when he is not here so it feels like we are with each other still but we really are not physically there. It’s hard not being with the person you love but it is SO worth the pain when you see them and get to finally hold them. 😊💛

You're going to get all different kinds of advice here, but it really just depends on you. Some women in are comfortable with LDR because they enjoy alone time or the company of friends or family, thinks like that. On the other hand, people like me would not do so well in a LDR because he is my best friend and we spend every day together. If you are really lonely you need to talk to him because he might not know that you're not getting as much love as you want. Ultimately, if nothing changes and you continue to feel lonely it might be best to end it and find someone in your area.

Personally, I really really like my space.
To the point where I’m starting to think about whether or not I’m suited to live with somebody unless I have a mini library or something to go to to get some down time. However I’m also where if I need somebody to be there, I need them to be there so long distance just wouldn’t work. Not to mention I struggle a bit with driving for long periods of time. I couldn’t do it and if you can’t you can’t. Make the decision that’s right for you.

When we were both living in the US I saw my husband every 5 weeks for 4 days at a time. I was in college so I couldn’t fly out for longer than that. We’ve been together for two deployments, one being one year and the second being 9 months. Now I’m pregnant and I haven’t seen him since May because he’s in another country but will see him at the end of August. I just keep myself busy and learned not to be codependent, but I’m also the kind of person that enjoys my own space.

My partner lives 1400 miles away. I see him every 4-6 weeks for a few days if we are lucky, but I’ve gone months not seeing him. I don’t feel lonely though. I keep myself busy. I go out with friends. I work on projects that I enjoy.
