Loestrin Lo Fe...missed period. Has it happened to you?

I missed my period this first month on the pill. I previously had an IUD and decided to take it. I started the pill on the first day of my period so I was supposed to be protected from the start. I’m really worried and would like to know if missing the first period is something to freak out about. Thankssss!

Omg I was literally just looking this up 🤦🏽‍♀️ I just switched to Lo Loestrin Fe a month and a half ago. I’m halfway through my second pack and I haven’t had one drop of blood since I’ve started it, no PMS symptoms at all; but with the Junel I was having breakthrough bleeding on and off for 3 months. Everything I’ve looked up says that it’s more than likely just the birth control. Due to the low amounts of estrogen Lo Lo has compared to other pills, it makes the lining of the uterus barely grow so there isn’t anything to shed and your period ultimately stop. I’m still going to take a test to be sure. I would say take one or/and go see your dr and just get clarification on it to ease your mind. Hope this was helpful.
