If I have hpv and I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years and we’ve been doing stuff for 2 years wouldn’t he have it by now?

Not all strands of HPV = genital warts. He could technically have a strand of HPV with no signs or symptoms (which is how it so easily gets spread to women). You could also have HPV but not the genital warts strand and it can clear up on its own over time. (not if you guys are reinfecting each other back and forth though obviously)

I showed positive for hpv several years ago. Then went for regular pap and nothing. No hpv
