I am on the NuvaRing and have been for a few years now. I have never had any issues with forgetting to insert/remove or anything, until now. Last night (Sunday night) I realized I never inserted a new ring last Sunday, meaning I have gonna a whole week without it!! I had unprotected sex all weekend because I didn't realize I had forgotten to put a new ring in, and of course it was during my fertile window. Maybe I'm worried about nothing, but I'd love some advice from any of you ladies. Should I just put in a new ring now? Should I wait and talk to my doc before I insert a new ring in case I am pregnant? It's obviously too early to tell if I am pregnant, but I am not ready for a child and neither is the guy I'm with so I just don't know what to do, and my doc is impossible to get through to.
