I got the nexplanon implant 11/30/16 so it's about halfway into my second year having it. My period started at the beginning of this month (July) lasted about a week, tapered off, stopped for 2 days, and came back full force for another week, then stopped for about a week and now it's just started again today. Previous periods since I got the implant have definitely been longer than a "normal" period, sometimes lasting 2 1/2 weeks give or take, but never stopping and starting repeatedly like this. And I basically go anywhere from 3-6 months without getting my period at all with the implant, it was closer to 3 months at the beginning and between this period and the one before was 6 months. Im not really sure what to expect at this point and wanted to know if this or something similar has happened to anyone else?
