Friend rushed to hospital after developing sepsis from mastitis

My sweet friend just had her baby a month ago and is struggling with nursing due to continuing to get mastitis. She was rushed to the hospital to have emergency surgery to remove an abscess. I just had my son 9 months ago, and I know how hard those first months are, and something like this would have devastated me. I feel horrible that she is going through this and want to make her feel better. Do you ladies have any suggestions? She's not the type to accept help, but I really want her to know that she's doing a great job and these things unfortunately happen without much control on her end. I want her to know that she's not alone and that regardless she's a wonderful momma. She didn't want any company at the hospital so I'm just not sure how to comfort her.
