My little guy is scheduled for surgery in early September. The surgery takes approximately two hours, and he’ll be under general anesthesia. Ideally, I’d like to wait until he is older to have the procedure done, but the surgeon recommends as soon as possible, and definitely before age three. The more information I read about anesthesia before age three, the more anxious and concerned I become. Has anyone been through this with your children? Please share your experiences. Thank you!
