No ultrasound until 10-12 weeks?!

I called my OB to tell them I’m pregnant and they said I’d have an appt at 6-8 weeks and then come back for my first US at 10-12 weeks. 
Has anyone else waited that long?? That feels like forrrevvver away!!

Yessss. I’m waiting on my appointment the 31st Ughh I hate not being  able to see my baby sooner. All my friends had ultrasounds between 6-8 weeks and I have to wait until 10 weeks!!!

all you see is a little bean at 6 to 8 weeks. i waited a few weeks after finding out I was pregnant with both my kids so I knew I'd be a little farther when I had my appt. I'm telling you, it is so much more exciting and reassuring when you see a little babies hands and feet and head and not just a sac. it'll go by quick enough :)

All of my friends and sisters have had their first at 8 weeks to check for a heartbeat, so 10-12 seems like so long to wait!

Yeah i got my first ultrasound at 10 weeks my hospital wont do it anyway earlier, for good reason though.

Normal unless you have a history of being high risk.
