How much milk should I pump and have in the fridge?

I'm going back to work next Wednesday and I'm currently breast feeding. but how much milk should I prep being gone for 9 hours for a newborn? he'll be 4 weeks old when I go back to work.

I've read basically shoot for atleast a 1 to 1.5 ounces for every hour you'll be gone.

They typically need 1-1.5 ounces for each hour you’re away from them divided into bottles for the number of times they would normally eat during that time. You shouldn’t need too much of a stash to use just for that because you will still be pumping while you’re away from the baby. I use frozen milk for Monday and then what I pump on Monday I send to daycare for Tuesday and so on. Then I freeze Friday’s milk and add to the back of my emergency stash so I’m cycling through it and it doesn’t go bad.

Why not just start stocking now and freeze it (providing you have the little bags for that)? Any spare you have can just be used when you’re out or whatever.
