I’m russian and want to give my daughter a Russian name Katerina (Katya/Katia for short). Do you think she will have pronunciation issues? It’s pronounced Kah - teee- ree- na.

I would pronounce it Cat-eh-rina but I’m not Russian. She’ll just have to correct people. Use the Russian version, especially since she will be Russian.
