I was flossing and noticed this black spot! I don't remember biting my check. I did have a crown put on that back tooth in January Thursday caused some irritation for a week or two.  any ideas??

Just keep an ion it. You can try doing some salt water gargles for the next few days and see if that helps at all. If it gets any worse, or you see it getting bigger and white, see your dentist ASAP because it could be an abscess.
