My husband and I just got news that we would not be able to conceive naturally due to his extremely low sperm count (5million) and my inability to ovulate strongly. We have been TTC for 14 months. I had the hsg procedure done and also did my first round of clomid this cycle before finding out his semen analysis results. Today I was filling out our paperwork before we meet with the fertility doctor on Thursday, and there was multiple questions about my most recent cycle. I realized then I was late by two days. Normally I’m a pretty crazy about tracking my cycle, but since we got news we wouldn’t be able to conceive I kind of gave up hope. I’m now waiting on blood results to confirm. Hoping and praying this is real!

Update: just left the doctors and my hcg levels were above 140! Started on prescription progesterone!

Update: unfortunately we miscarried at 7 weeks.

Update: the doctors found a heartbeat today after what they thought was a miscarriage. We had a threaded miscarriage and the sac is surrounded by blood clots so we are still in danger of a miscarriage any day or we could have a healthy pregnancy.
