Doctor appt

So this might sound silly but i just found out I’m pregnant through at home tests. I haven’t told family or friends because it’s so early and I don’t want to be bombarded with questions if I have a miscarriage. I need to call my doctor office (I was just there on the 20th but I didn’t know I was pregnant 🤦🏻‍♀️) to let them know I’m pregnant. Do I just tell them I’m pregnant and I need an appt? Or how does this work? This is my first time and I want to make sure that I’m doing what I need to and they’re doing what they need to. Thank you in advance!
