So I met this boy at my bible camp in the beginning of July this year and we met on July 4 . It was after service and usually it lasts up to 7-11 pm every night so we have 1 hour till we go back to our cabins (curfew). So I was lonely because my friends left me to go somewhere (wasn’t mad tho since they told me) and I was just standing by the campfire . Since it was July 4th there was s’mores and sparklers to celebrate for the campers . That’s how I met him , let’s call him jay . Jay was there roasting a marshmallow and asks me what I was doing alone without a marshmallow and I’m like “uhh all my friends left me”. Keep in mind he goes to my church so I’ve seen him before but never really talked to him. So he cooks me a marshmallow (never made one before) and offers me to go to the gym to play basketball (it’s all the way across the camp) and I say “yes”. So we are just walking then talking and some flirting maybe. Thats day one . Day 2 it’s the same way , before curfew we go walking around .. talking. And in my head I’m like “wow I really like this boy”. So recently on my birthday I told him I like him , and turns out he likes me too but it’s like more than a crush , we literally like , like eachother a lot . But he told me he wasn’t really looking for a relationship at the moment and just wanted to stay friends as of right now which has me thinking does he want to be something more in the furtursor what? And keep in mind he is a bit older too he’s like 16.
