confused AF

can not enough water delay your period? I was supposed to get AF on saturday but she hasn't showed yet. I took a test yesterday afternoon and at first it looked positive cause part of the dye was delayed from the rest and collected near the test line and a min later it move up but it left the bottom portion of test pinkish (starting at the test line going towards the sample well)
