I had been trying to schedule my 39 and 40 week chekups out with my doctor and couldn't find anything available, so I asked him today about it and he's going to be out Aug. 1-19...I'm due the 12th and this is the first time I'm hearing about it. And, I likely wouldn't have any idea unless I brought it up today. So we spent 20 minutes talking about different scenarios, if Baby comes early, on time, late, etc, and that likely would have not happened if I didn’t ask about his availability.

So now I get to find a random doctor to have my 39 and 40 week checkups with.

And to top it all off I’m less dilated than my last appt and with all of the scenario prepping he forgot to even check baby’s heartbeat and I didn’t realize it until I had already left. Cried the whole way home and I’m usually not very emotional. I’m so frustrated and feeling less confident with my care.
