Late period but BFN 💔

So my period is 2 days late, was due on Sunday and comes very Sunday night every 4 weeks, so like clockwork. I’m also currently about 14 DPO and we BD on my peak ovulation day as I’ve had the mild ‘ticklish’ feeling cramps in my lower abdomen since then.

*note, the only other time AF has been late is when I fell pregnant in March and sadly it didn’t stick 💔

I honestly feel so different this time around, I know everyone says that but sometimes you just think you feel it.

Anyway I did a pregnancy test 4 days before my period was due (9DPO) and BFN, and I also did one on the morning of my due period, also a BFN. I waited and told myself I wouldn’t do another till my period is late, which it now is. I tested as soon as I woke up this morning only to find another BFN 😔 I’m just confused and heartbroken I really thought it was my turn.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Had negatives and then maybe got a BFP a little later down the track? I’m really hoping this is the case and my HCG levels aren’t high enough right now 😞
