ointment cream?

Quick question what's a good ointment cream I could use. Story short got my IUD removed last Thursday and started a period I guess since having it removed. Yesterday i used a pad but noticed like a little reddish/cut right above vag lips. So every since its gets so itchy and like a burning cutting. I think I might of had been getting a little rash from the pad and made my skin irritated. Has anyone had this problem and what helped you guys out?. I'm still on my period and there in no bad smell and no it doesnt not hurt when I pee. I just think I might of have gotten a little cut/rash from the pad. TIA
