Well after a week of thinking I’ve had the flu it’s been confirmed i have mastitis. This is, without a doubt, the worse pain I’ve ever been in.

My fevers are 102+ with cold chills, nausea, severe pain in my boob, and head ache. I have. 3.5 week old that I’m nursing through the pain and a 19 month old and I can’t even get out of bed. Today I started my antibiotic which will be take 4 times a day for 10 days. I didn’t get this with my first so have no experience with it. Has anyone had this? How long do you begin to feel better after starting the antibiotic (first dose was 3 hours ago)?

I’ve is an oversupply which has resulted in not only nursing on demand but also stashing 300 ounces in our freezer. Should I stop pumping and only do on demand? This is so, so terrible.
