We’ve had a professional company come and spray our house quarterly for the last year, always outside and sometimes inside. I’m 15 weeks and he’s only come once since I’ve been pregnant and he only sprayed outside as a precaution but said if he sprayed inside, he’d recommend that I leave for the day. This last week with the heat, there have been some spiders in the house (and we hadn’t seen any since they started spraying last summer).

Does anyone else have routine pest control come out while pregnant? I read some articles about pesticides possibly causing autism and even leukemia, so I’m thinking to maybe just have him spray outside. But I’m also terrified of bugs and had to go on medication and have therapy last year for panic attacks when we moved to a new house with a lot of pests. So I’d like to have him spray inside but don’t want to put my baby at any additional risk.
