My period is due today. I typically spot for two days prior to my period, and I haven’t spotted at all. Not even a tiny sign of spotting or bleeding, and I’ve been checking my CM, too. I’ve had bouts of intense nausea for the last three days, along with breast discomfort, mild localized cramping, and intense fatigue. All of this is entirely out of the ordinary for me. I decided to buy a FRER on my way home from work.

Took the test. While waiting for the result, I decided I had to pee again and do number two.

When I finished, I wiped, and there was red blood on the toilet paper.

This was our eighth month of trying for our first. I’m 36. I’m so freaking over it, right now.
