hello beautiful ladies!!

i am writing because i need some advice on what to do about my super duper strict parents (well more my dad) but yanno. so they have a tracker on my phone and it’s very annoying and stressful and causes me so much anxiety. i have no reason to be stressed because i don’t do anything sketchy but i still think it’s overbearing.

i am going to be 20 years old soon and a sophomore in college, how do i get my parents to take the tracker off my phone? i’ve threatened to get off their plan and pay for my own phone but i haven’t actually done it in hopes that they would take it off. i don’t have a problem with my parents having a tracker on my phone but it’s like my dad picks and chooses when he wants me to act like an adult.

i bought my own car and pay for my own insurance and i have a job that i work all summer long about 6 days a week. so i am a responsible adult because of those things but it’s like every time i go out, and i don’t do exactly what i say that i’m going to do or if the plans change, i get interrogated when i get home. what should i do?
