Rainbow baby after 5 miscarriages

Got a super surprise BFP yesterday. We had given up on having a biological child and had an appointment tomorrow for our adoption home study. We stopped tracking and planning the month prior. I had no idea I was pregnant just a day late and took a test just to prove to myself I wasn’t pregnant. I do that sometimes to relieve myself of the waiting stress. And it was a strong positive!

With my history of miscarriages and low hcg and progesterone levels I made an appointment today with the fertility doctor I had been seeing. My HCG is at 744 and my progesterone is at 20 both great numbers for right at 4 weeks! They will retest hcg on Wednesday to make sure it’s doubling. But Iv got a sense of peace about this pregnancy Iv not had before. I’m telling my family and close friends because I’m happy and want to share my excitement 😊
