pill wrong?

so my doctor told me to start my pill the day i got them and i got them on tuesday so i got the pill out of tuesday’s and took it from there. i was on nexplanon so i was always on my period. did i mess up my whole pack? i’m a new user and need help !!! will this mess up my effectiveness?

You’re totally fine.  Just keep taking it everyday.  And when you get towards the end of the pack before you start a new one take the Sunday and Monday you skipped. Not sure if I explained that well enough lol.  If it doesn’t make sense let me know.

Even if you started on Tuesday, you should have started with the Sunday pill...make sure you take Sunday and Monday’s pills before you take the placebos. You should probably go back to your pharmacist/doctor to clarify anyway

Usually when you start on a day other than sunday the pack comes with stickers to change the day at the top. Im not sure if skipping those makes it less effective but for your next pack just keep in mind you can change the day on the first one and go from there :)
