What birth control do you recommend ?

Going to the doctors today to get birth control for the first time ever , I had my daughter about two months ago and I am not interested in getting pregnant for while what do u recommend for me ?

I highly advise against the patch and depo. Thats just me personally though. I got pregnant on BOTH. My mom had twins on the depo. When I got pregnant on the depo I miscarried and ended up bleeding so bad months after it my doctor scheduled an emergency pelvic screening. He thought I had a cyst on one of my ovaries or just my uterus in general. They never found the cause to all the heavy bleeding though. However I do know bleeding through 3 heavy pads within 30-45 minutes is NOT normal. So please don’t get the depo. As for the patch? Im currently pregnant with my daughter (33weeks) and she is a result of the patch failing me. I took it EXACTLY as directed and still got pregnant. Yes I love her, but I wasn’t ready to give up everything that I did right away. Also, Ive heard about 25+ different women in my shoes right now. They got pregnant on the patch as well.

Anything but the depo!! I bled for 6 months straight every single day, and gained 35 pounds, not to mention I was extremely bitchy which started to tear my relationship apart, I’m getting the patch!

Patch!!! It’s super easy ! Super sticky and no one knows your on bc if you put it on your butt . When I was first on the pill it made me throw up !
