So my partner is in the army and we spend 5 days out of 7 200 miles apart. My partner doesn't like me hanging around with guys without him being present. He says it's not because he doesn't trust me, he just finds it a bit disrespectful? I don't know why but I've been respectful of this and therefore don't socialise with guys without him.

Anyway, recently he's moved camps because he's doing a course and this girl called 'jenny' seems to pop up in conversation a lot. Whenever I ask him what he's doing he's like 'oh just shopping with jenny' or 'just chilling in the bar with jenny'. When he comes home and we're just chatting he'll be like 'oh that happened to jenny' or 'Jenny's done this at work'.

Well it's safe to say I kicked off! I told him I don't care about this girl, who she is or what she does. However I told him I was concerned that something was going on behind closed doors between the two of them. It seems like they are constantly together and it's turning me into a paranoid mess.

I told him that i think it's wrong that I can't socialise with my friends without his presence but he's free to spend all his time with some girl at work!

He told me that there is nothing going on, they are just friends and he doesn't find her attractive but my minds doing overtime right now.

What do you ladies think? Do you think he is playing away from home or am I over-reacting and should just drop it?
