No period just brown spotting?

So my periods always come every month. I haven’t had sex in about 10 months, I nearly had sex but I was on my period, he put the tip in but then pulled it out, but he was wearing a condom and I had my period the next month so I don’t think I’m pregnant. The only thing I’ve had close to a period this month is some brown blood which I assumed was the beginning of my period. I haven’t had any lifestyle changes but the weather has been really hot lately 😂 would that make a difference? Btw I’m not on the contraceptive pill or anything like that.
