my husband got a vasectomy, but I am looking for a method to lighten my periods. I always thought being mid 30s and after 2 kids it would be lighter...nope. I bleed for about 5 days immediately and then spot for last 2. I do not have time for the embarrassment of the heavy periods. any success with the patch? I was on the pill for 13 years before my first. I'm looking for options. do not want another IUD after having the mirena surgically removed. Any advice??
