Is accupuncture beneficial for IVF journey?

I am currently going through my first IVF journey and am having accupuncture twice a month and then before and after egg transfer and I wanted to see what people felt about it and whether it can improve chances. I have had 1 so far and have the next one booked for 6th Aug x

Yes I believe it helped me get my bfp. I would ask about the research based ivf protocol. You go 2x a week for about 3-4 weeks before egg retrieval and the right before and after transfer. Not sure if that possible for you but I think anything’s better than nothing.

I've never done acupuncture and have gotten pregnant from 2 of our 3 transfers.

My first acupuncture was a nightmare!  This lady had drunk the Kool-aid for sure.  I never went back to her. But after diminished ovarian reserve and a poor outcome from 1 cycle of IVF I found someone else!  We had better success with 2 more cycles. We haven’t tried an FET yet so I can keep you posted. I know a few people that swear by it.  I figure it can’t hurt. 🤷🏻‍♀️

For me it helps with stress and relaxation. She’s know her stuff and has been a bit of a coach as well. Would highly recommend it ❤️
