Would this be tacky?

My husband and I don't live near out family but are going home for our sons 1st birthday party. Would it be tacky to include something with the invitations that says what size clothes he is in and what he likes (Thomas the train, barney etc)

I would just say something like “your presence is present enough, but if you still feel like you want to add something extra here is a little about LO’s name”
Or you can just on the back of the card give a all about LO’s name, say what he’s into now at 1, how big he is in height and weight compared to when he was born, that sort of thing so then if people were buying clothes the clothes will say fits this weight and length or if they do toys you’ve already said what he’s into. And then you haven’t said anything about gifts.

I just got this in the mail from one of my good friends for her son who is turning 1! I didn’t think it was tacky & actually I appreciated it because since I don’t get to see her often, I don’t know what her son likes or what size he wears!

I wish I could figure out an appropriate way to say “your presence is enough but if you feel inclined you can donate to Jolene’s college fund”! 😂😂 between my baby’s grandmas who are buying stuff every time I turn around, I have plenty of toys and clothing -I’m so overwhelmed by it all!
