Hospital bag for c-section?

Question

Hi ladies what did you pack or wished you packed in your hospital bag for a c-section? 
Anything will help I’m having one very very soon and my first was natural so I have no idea if I need to pack anything different?

The only things I used from my back were socks with grips on the bottom and toiletries.  I stayed in my hospital gown the whole time. I also had nipple cream I bought for breastfeeding and brought my own blanket. Oh I also used my robe for when I took a walk.  And extra hair ties. I also packed an outfit to go home in and an outfit for the baby

I used almost nothing I brought aside from toiletries and my pillow. I stayed in the hospital gown for ease of nursing and I had active IVs in both arms. I do wish I had brought loser fitting pants to go home in. I figured since my yoga pants fit when I walked into the hospital, they would fit when I walked out. Problem was they hit my incision and it hurt. So did my underwear. I wore the mesh underwear for a full week at home and lived in shorts that were nearly falling off they were so loose.

Answer

Pack loose fitting pants and undies for when you go home or when your walking around the floor.  I also brought a csection support belt as my hospital didn’t provide one. That was really the only thing different from my natural birth that I brought. Good luck mama!
