They say to do it within an hour after having sex to prevent a UTI. Sometimes I’ll get up straight away to pee, sometimes I’ll get up 20 minutes later or nearly an hour later, depending on how lazy I feel. 
There are times I don’t pee until many hours later, like if my partner wakes me up for sex in the middle of the night and then I roll over and go straight back to sleep. 🤷‍♀️ I’ve never had a ITI caused by sex before.

You're supposed to pee immediately after sex, otherwise you're at risk for a UTI 😉

Right after... now if we had some bomb crazy long sex I’m gonna have to wait about 5 minutes or so to regain enough energy to go pee. 😂

If you're trying to prevent UTIs you should always go immediately after. the longer you wait the more bacteria spreads.
