What's the horomonal IUD like?

I'm looking for a new type of birth control, and I want to get opinions from women who have it or have tried it. It would be super helpful to me!! :)

I’ve had the mirena for 1.5 years and have had no trouble with it. It changed my period from 3 days to 7 days but made it extremely light so I just wear panty liners rather than super tampons

I had kyleena, I think, and it started giving me cramps like I was on my period but they happened almost every day. and some days were just downright excruciating pain. So I got it taken out after having it for about 3-4 months. I also have never had a baby before so my uterus could have been too small for it, causing discomfort. they say it's less noticeable after you've had a baby.
