This all began June 30th, I felt a flow so I went to check and the blood was pouring out of me. Within minutes I was passing clots, large clots! I called my dr. because I just associated blood with loss, he asked me a series of questions and told me to go to the ER. 

I went to the ER, after 4 hours and being told I was miscarrying, I was diagnosed with two subchorionic hematomas. I was told to follow up with my OB. 

On Monday, I follow up with my OB who tells me this happens, that if I have any bright red spotting, to give them a call. 

A week goes by, I had light brownish spotting and all of a sudden, it turns bright red. I call my OB who tells me to they want to do an ultrasound. Baby checks out, I have a small hematoma. So they say 🙄 they tell me if I have anymore bright red bleeding, call them right away. 

The spotting returned to brown for a couple days, then the following Monday I had a bright red, period like flow. I return for an ultrasound. They say there is no difference in my 'small' hematoma, baby looks ok. They said call back if you have a bright red flow that fills a pad in less than an hour. 

Following Tuesday, I begin to spot red again. By Thursday I have a period like flow with clots the size of a marble, give or take. I called because the clotting was worrisome. They have me come in for an ultrasound. Hematoma shows no growth. Baby looks good. So the dr. sternly told me that not to call or be concerned unless I am passing clots. 

This last Sunday as I am getting ready to serve dinner, I felt a flow. I go to check and the blood is gushing out of me, seconds

later I pass what I feel is a large clot. When the flow subsided a little I stood up and saw a clot the size of a toilet paper roll carton. I call my dr. who advises me to go to the ER.

After 7 hours in the ER, still no change in the hematoma. Sent home with a period like flow and small clots. Pencil eraser size. The ER dr. was concerned with the size of those. I told him shit, you should have seen what came out of me earlier. 

Monday morning....I pass another large clot.

I call my dr. to give an update and they told me this is my normal. Not worry and they will see me at my 16 week appointment. I have decided that I am going in for a second opinion with another OBGYN. Something is telling me something is wrong....

Anyone have any thoughts or experience or simply perspective they can share?
