Confused

My period is a few days late so I decided to take a pregnancy test and it was negative. So just to see what it said I took an ovulation test and both lines are the same color and darkness so it looks like I’m ovulating. Is it possible to ovulate at the end of your cycle? I took ovulation test all throughout what I thought was my fertile window but none of the test were as dark as the one I took today. I’m on day 29 of my cycle.
